Edge Perfomance - Luke Edgell | How To Become A Performance Coach

Training with Luke Edgell (edgeperformance_ insta) last week and really being challenged to keep up was one of the biggest thrills I’ve had in coaching. For me it rivals winning all the titles in 2013 with the Sydney Roosters while I worked as strength coach.

“I believe that consistency gives you the mental break to be more inspired and have more regularity, maintaining that progress is achieved. The improvements of progressions is the key.”

“Being a coach of athletes, such as beach volleyball players, has been the most rewarding because they give 100% and one as coach has to give 100% in retribution”

Luke Edgell

Since Luke first attended what is now the RealMVMT Foundation course 3 years ago Luke has attended almost all of the courses I’ve run since. His development as an athlete, performance coach and person has been amazing and I’ve learned a lot from Luke through this process.

Luke is now a mentor with the RealMVMT Master Coach Program and presented last week at the 4-day internship here in Byron Bay.

Luke is also an ambassador for #iChooseMovement  – Get Involved!

If you want to go from Globo Gym PT to really knowing how to develop athletes and everyday Joes in all aspects that effect performance then Luke’s example is a great one.
