REAL MVMT COACHES SUMMIT PRESENTERS PART 6 - The Performance BOSSES
Duncan French
I first heard Duncan speak on one of the early RealMovementProject webinars.
I’ve kept track of his movements and work since.
Duncan has a massive bank of experience. He’s been on the shop floor for a long time. While also studying and writing scientific research papers.
“Where rubber meets the road” was a catch phrase of the last intensive. This is it. Working with multiple sports in different countries gives more experience than most.
Currently the Vice President of the UFC performance institute! Formerly with the GB Olympic Team and Notre Dame College.
We look forward to hearing real coaching stories from olympics to the octagon.
Mitch Caine
A physical performance coach with experience across multiple professional and Olympic sports, including previously working at the Australian Institute of Sport.
Currently at Queensland Cricket as the Physical Performance Coach with the senior women’s teams, the Queensland Fire (WNCL) and Brisbane Heat (WBBL). Winning the BBL 2019!
The AIS is the Australian hub of development for aspiring Olympic & Professional athletes. Mitch will give us an insight into how things are done there.
Mitch has a broad range of experiences across many sports with athletes of varied ages, both male and female.
Adam Beard
Can’t wait for this one. Right on my wake up time!
Since I read The Cubs Way a few years back, I have been intrigued by the Cubs.
Currently Director of High Performance at the Cubs. Adam has also worked with the Fremantle Dockers, AIS, EIS and the British & Irish Lions.
Adam lead the inception of High Performance in the NFL, oversaw the design and implementation of a highly collaborative management system with regard to player performance.
Adam is going to discuss “Getting the balance right in our coaching”. This is always the challenge. Things are always moving. No more than the current situation.
Grateful for Adam taking time out of his role of managing 40+ staff who are making adjustments for the interrupted MLB season.
Gary Dempsey
I had the pleasure of working with Gary at the Bradford Bulls. We underwent a drastic shift in S & C approach. Gary showed some of the best traits that a Coach can have.
ROCK SOLID SUPPORT for his Head Coach. Even during trying times, of philosophical debate during a mid season change of Head Coach.
Gary has great experience across a range of sports. Most recently helping Dundee Utd get promoted.
Previously at the England Institute of sport and Yorkshire Carnegie.
Gary will talk discuss the thought, are we actually ‘Fit for Purpose’.
Looking forward to reconnecting.
Denis Logan
Exos. A place synonymous with performance.
A place athletes go to get prepared for the combine, season and career.
Denis was responsible for overseeing the NFL draft and offseason programs.
He knows power, speed & movement.
And big bodies, and personalities!
Post Exos, a stint at the Cleveland Browns was a look into the daily grind of the NFL season.
Currently Heading up the program at Munster Rugby Union.
Denis will be sharing his journey and philosophy around getting the best out his program and players!
