How To Become Elite - Training From Home

I’ve said for a long time that training exclusively in the gym 2-4 times per week is not enough. It’s not enough to develop optimal strength, mobility and skill, it’s definitely not enough to support optimal health and wellness.

“You become what you thinking about all day long.”  I think a lot about getting out to my home set-up to train.

Ralph Waldo Emerson

If you have a kick ass gym at your doorstep your chances of becoming a beast and moving much more often become infinitely greater.

These are the decisive factors for making home training work for you:

1. Are you educated?

No point putting hours into poor movement patterns and movements that make you slow if you want to be fast. To get great results from home you need to know how to train.

2. Do your results matter?

If you’re likely to battle to the death many times during your life then it’s very likely you’re going to train hard. This was the motivational back drop for the Ancient Greeks and the Roman’s. Fortunately the likelihood of a violent death has never been lower in most of the world. So what do we have to train for?

We live in a time of rapidly expanding consciousness. RealMOVEMENT is built on the idea that expanding physical capacities is a door to self-actualisation.

Here are some examples of educated, results focused athletes who got results from home:

Mr Deadlift - Bob Peoples, one of the strongest men in history trained alone, often in a basement he dug out for himself, so does Dinosaur Athlete, Brooks Kubik. Paul Anderson trained in the fields behind his house among other venues. The training of all of these men mattered because they were setting new world standards, they broke world records and created a lasting iron legacy.

Three of the strongest members of RealMOVEMENT community, Nathan Gould, Ben Garard and Sam Kennedy have all done a lot of training at home. Nathan now has the ultimate backward gym and has lost his milky glow as a result. (Optimal Vitamin D levels saves many more lives than skin cancer takes!)

Ido Portal can develop his movement anywhere, and he does, the results have changed the world.

If you don't know what you're doing and don't have a burning desire to change the world by your movement legacy then you would be better off going to RealMOVEMENT Coach and learning how to safely develop mobility, power, gymnastics and barbell skills. The training environment will help you to train consistently and it may even end up being the favourite part of your day!

Here’s where I train.
